My sister (the older of the two) is having an internship in london in a few weeks. She can sleep in a youth hostel, but in case one of you lives in london and has space, she asked me to ask if she can sleep there.

Anyway, don't even think about asking her questions about me :)

I think she was in london already, passing through on her ireland trip. She travels a lot :)

god gurf! dont scare her! I used to stay in a youth hostel near Brixton alone, then lived in another for 2months in a 12 mixed dorm with all sort of ppl, and survived... so it is not that bad! you do have to be aware, but as long as u dont stay out alone late specially places there are not many ppl around, u are fine. anyway. dust;if she needs any other sort of help just ask me :)

I asked her, she's going to "Three Mills Studio" from "20th Century Fox".
I didn't know what it is, but google did: http://www.3mills.com/

eek not the best area. hackney is close and a rough place famous of knifing....i would avoid that. Dockland Light railway however is fun, i like that. an electric train with not driver on the front so it is different travelling right the front. Greenwich is nearby which is a nice place to visit. where is she going to stay? i'd prob stay close to central london and just travel thre during the day, and not to stay out too late. it is right the other side of london as to where i live.:(
i would prob find somewhre in Greenwich. nice area, an maybe a bit cheaper than central london. and take Dockland Light railway.

I would say, Blackheath. It is a wonderful area, safe and very pleasant in the Summer.

it is lovely indeed, been there. however it might be slightly off the easiest commute. Greenwich is very lively, taking the boat trip to westminster is a must trip, specially on a sunny day. also greenwich has this market every weekend with lots of handmade items, not to talk about the Maritime museum, the lovely park, the university, and it is all very central. shame Cutty shark burned down tho.
what is your favourite part of london?
