Heard that is out today, wondered if anyone had bought it? Any good?

Guess a lot of guilds will be bracing themselfs for another Conan style loss of players.

I've been playing early access since Sunday.
From the sounds of it, my collectors edition copy arrived earlier.

So far so good, it's a lot like WoW in that it's pick up and play.
Very much PvP orientated, I've gained most of my levels in the BG's so far.
PvE isn't too bad either, a bit of grinding, butthe Public Quests are easy to jump into and do.

My biggest gripes are the lack of advanced graphical options.
(I have to force Anti-aliasing in my graphics card drivers)
And the queues to get onto the servers if you're playing Destruction.
I've not found a class I want to stick with, I do have another couple to get through yet.

I think it's going to have to be order for me, mainly as it seems to be the reverse of PvP in WoW.

Overall, I'm very impressed with Warhammer so far.
I think I'll be hanging around in WoW for a while yet (got my two copies of WotLK on pre-order).

I really hope Warhammer does well, as I think if this fails also, there's going to be a lack of interest to develop new MMO's.
As good as WoW is, there needs to be something new.

im loyal to my wow (for now) can't say im 100% won over by wotlk

Im thinking on giving this game a chance..Is it different servers/worlds/realms like it is in WoW?

I'm playing it at the moment, server i'm on is Karak Eight peaks or something

Well imo...

1. Pvp in the game alsow gives you xp so what ever you do you'l lvl.

2. No dungeons so far in the game, only co-op missions, go to a place with the logo for co-op and anyone in that area will join the fight. Ppl who did the most will get better stuff at the end.

3. Not that arty as wow, world for now look a lot a like, you only see the diffrens between chaos controled or order.

4 Feels a lot like DAoC wich suckt ass.


All and all the game is fun to play, but i dont get the same feeling of wanting to play it like WoW did when it was first releasd.

I have a witch hunter. good so far, not 100% about the rvr mainly because i'm crap. the crafting could be fun tho

I've found the crafting complicated so far, as there's no set recipes.
It's a case of chuck everything into a pot and see what happens.

Seems I'm going order, don't like the server queues or wait for RvR with destruction.

In case anyone's interested I can be found on Karrak Orrud.
Mainly playing a Dwarf Iron Breaker named Carrwyn.
I also have Noolah, Nools, Noola, Nool and Zanne which I can occasionally be found playing.

i tryed GW and was disapointed so hard... tried AOC and felt the same.. i`m kinda skeptic... hope it`s better... will not be good as wow for sure.. wow had years to tune and stuff ...

They tweekt Warhammer, looks a LOT better now and the DoaC feel is gone, i bouth it today, LOVE it.
I was gone come back to wow but after this game i think i m gone stick to it. Srry for thows who where waiting on me, if i had a day left to play i d give you my gold. O well, Charecter name is Darkhawk and i'm a Dark elf, mybe i l see some of you on the RvR fights or on my server =).

and what server is that?
