Dire Maul is by far my favorite instance in WoW, lost count of how many times I ran the West side.

Caverns of Time: Durnhold Keep is a close second, just really like what they did with that one.

BWL probably my most fondly remembered Raid Instance due to being allowed "A" rights on Vael to spam the most random macro I could think of :P

And the part I enjoyed was taking them back off you once Vael blew you up. :)

Might not be so WoWless, old friend has nudged me into giving it a try. Finished downloads this morning and logged on. Was odd being lost in Ironforge.

It does seem interesting that the old instances are more popular.

The starting zone of TBC is maybe the most boring there is in the expansion. If you are going to play for a day or two, I suggest you go to zangarmarsh (the next area) and do the local quests. It's a beautiful and well thought out zone.

BWL was my favorite instance without a doubt. As for the least favorite...I have to choose between MC and AQ40.
Both didn't have a very good design, but MC has the excuse of Blizz still learning about raid-instance design.
Guess AQ40 is my least favorite, because how bad the design was compared to BWL.

Also, I hate most 5 man instances. Most of them are plain boring for a tank, compared to raid encounters.

Well, maybe in a few weeks we can get a few of the oldtimers together and all go back to AQ40 and kill C'thun under Mog's leadership.
That I'd call closure :)
