The Great Instance Debate

Post by MindyMcfly » 11 Feb 2008 11:53

Im interested to know what everyones favorite and worst Instances are and mabe a bit of reasoning.... just think how many people must be missing out on the content in MC, BWL, ZG, AQ and Naxx all instances that will never get raided again?

I really dislike BRD, due to helping to attune most members of SBK to Onyxia (eight or nine times in one day rescuing marshal windsors enough to drive anyone potty). I never actually got to goto Onyxia either!!

I really liked Strathome Undead side, its just visually brilliant and Zul'Gurub with Hakkar mocking you in the middle.

BRD was indeed terrible also becoz it was a maze, and most ppl remember those pickup runs where you spend 4 hours with only killing 1 or 2 bosses and wandering around.
Still i think i hate gnomerang or uldaman most esspecially those dark iron dwarfs in gnome ;)

I must admite i kinda like ramparts its a small and fast instance not waisting alot of time on clearing trash just moving on fast.

I personally loved Nax, although I'm not sure why... Maybe I didn't go there enough to get that fed up with it (like MC/BWL and Ony)...

I liked Dire Maul. Of the raid instances, I liked BWL, almost no trash. Naxx was nice too, but a bit difficult and lineup strict bosses.
I do what I think is right. But I don't think that what I think is right can not be wrong.

ZG is the best raid instance. Great layout and atmosphere and several innovative bosses.

I really liked DM, and DM west is my favourite 5 man instance in game. The boss fights are not that interesting aside from the demon blob, but the place has epic flavour.

Uldaman is my most hated. The end boss is a great fight, but there is endless maze of trash before it.

I'll always hold a soft spot for BlackWing Lair. Loved that place.
As for the worst, and a large part of why I quit, AQ, either of them. I detested both.

Ah yes but mog... AQ40 did bring to light your certain fetish for designer pally gear, and a reluctance to wear a helmet :)

Hooray for Huhuran!

Seriously, I loved AQ40. Although we were often stuck on too many things in there (pre-emperors trash ).
