they do have the straeming downloader but loads of people have already got the whole 16Gb downloaded and if they want to test more they need to download the whole lot again

Did I read somewhere stating that will only be available for those whose connection can sustain 1MB/S? If so, that's going to rule out about 90% of the UK.

Mebibyte, to be pedantic. I think the average speed over here nets around 0.3MiB/sec. My parents get a faster connection via 3G than they do ADSL (60KB/s).

Oach! thats bad ware do they live and who are they with ? im with Virgin and get 10mb (1.1Mb) all the time

ADSL and Cable depend heavily on the usage (the medium is shared at least with cable) and the distance to the base station.

In Romania we have insane speeds apparently. I usually have around 3MB/s. But there were 2 kinds of downloads, the one from the launcher, with 2.5 - 3 MB/s and another one from the downloader, for patch 4 or something, which was extremely slow.

They've made very nice improvements for the UI and for the new players in general
