Meh, that sucks big time...
I have half my keyboard bound to taunt and the other half bound to sunder.
I just smash my face on my keyboard and mobs aggro to me.

Re: Virgin Media - WoW Lag Issues
Im on Virgin so that explains all the DC's and the mega slow down im getting but what puzzles me is that they only mention ADSL and that is from telephone lines that are made of copper and not fiber optic cable unless they are just calling everything ADSL now.

Re: Virgin Media - WoW Lag Issues
Mark Wilkin (Virgin operative looking into this) has explicitly stated that the issue only affects ADSL.

Virgin's back bone is FTTC ( fibre to the cabinent) but supply to homes I think is CT100 ( essentially coax cable). [This is all from memory so may be inaccurate]MindyMcfly wrote:I was lagging so bad in Naxx raid the other night, but none in previous raids in Ulduar.... go figure. Copper is fast enough for gigabit ethernet, it's all the encoding :)
I have Cablecom as provider, and a 50mbit/s connection with something they call fiber. My network is connected over cable modem. The whole thing works very well.

I do what I think is right. But I don't think that what I think is right can not be wrong.

Ah well, better now than when Cataclysm actually hits, right? There's still a month until that, so should be enough time for them to fix it.
