Re: Diablo 3
AFAIK the T&C are unchanged since the board was created. Irrespective of this, they apply whilst on the current host.
As I said if you object to the T&C get Dust / officers to move host.

Re: Diablo 3
make that 3.. 1 does no longer exist, that was my test user and 2 is the admin i also created.Tiel wrote:I am user id 1.
Did it say in the T&C when I registered on my own forum that a filter would be applied?
Only something about "please do not use vulgar language". I don't think the word BLEEP is in any way vulgar, it is very common and only kids under 10 get told not to say it. I simply do not understand your drastic choice. If you can enlighten me and give me arguments about why I can't switch the filter off or why it is even there in the first place, then I'll shut up. Or is "room for discussion" also filtered on this forum?
Again. We are not 10 nor Americans... And this is the internet, not a church.

"You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “thecorewithin.net” is hosted or International Law."
Did you host it in China or something?

Re: Diablo 3
I've discussed it already ...
End of discussion.
Granted your interpretation of the above is going to be different from others, but that interpretation will always fall with the officers and ultimately with the host. I've given you a resolution if decide you don't like the outcome of the discussion. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “TheCoreWithin” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “TheCoreWithin” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. Well as the person that paid for TheCoreWithin domain name when it was up for renewal, I vote we stay. Cyberia has been a great and gracious host to us and we don't want to get him in trouble.

Re: Diablo 3
Don't get me wrong Cyb, I really appreciate your hosting services and I don't want to make any trouble.
I merely disagree with one little thing and if this is your final decision I will accept.
Technically there's nothing about a filter in the T&C though
I like you as a person, I don't like you that much as a forum hoster, but it's all good!
hugs
