People all over the world are loosing there jobs as businesses restructure to become more profitable share holders always want more and the best way to get more to share holders is to get rid of staff and save a bucket load of money every month. WOW is only in decline because yet again it is in the last tier of raiding and is gonna be a very long last tier like LK 12 months people didnt like that and if it ends up any thing like that people are gonna stop playing even more and come back when MOP is released and even then a lot of people may not stay. SW wasnt the big hit it was supposed to have been and as for some of the other new MMO's all I can see happening is that people will play a month or 2 on each one and mix it up between them only paying for 1 at a time so numbers are gonna be al over the place.
