The tech is really impressive, love the idea of the AR glasses. The just need to invent some batteries that last longer than a few hours to power it all :lol:

That screen is the way 3D should be imo.
The 3D they advertise with these days is nothing but stereo.
I can imagine you need a rather large array of camera's to film a true 3D scene, with the most used aspect ratio it's like 16 x 9 camera's or so to have something that looks a little 3D. Preferably many more. This is the future of 3D if you ask me, although not really interesting for (home) cinema use, since you're sitting still while watching anyway.
Could be very useful for games though, this idea could be interesting with Wii/Kinect kinda things. And then you don't need all the camera's, just a prismatic TV.

I think for movies, true 3D is not useful. Film/Cinematography language relies on tricks like perspective, viewpoint and image composition, so if every person in a cinema sees it differently, you could not use that.
