Watches
I quite like watches... I want an X-33 once I can afford one :)

Those are quite crazy... I wonder if anyone can read the time off...

I am not sure what I like more: mechanic watches, with all the gears, springs and exact manufacturing, or electronic ones with a ton of gadgets...

I do what I think is right. But I don't think that what I think is right can not be wrong.

Re: Watches
I've been on the search for a new one again (not that I've ever spent money on an omega so far...). This one looks quite cool:
http://www.casio-europe.com/euro/watch/ ... m5600-1er/
Nice features it has:
- Solar Powered
- Radio Time from an atomic clock
- Light
- They claim it's robust
- Other stuff such as displaying time

Re: Watches
That phone wristwatch looks a bit clunky.

Re: Watches
I'm watch lover also but I'm more adept of the Carrera from Tag then the Omega's.
TXWatches

This is the new quality line from Timex, they are quite good, nice looking and afforadable.
My last aquisition was a TX 500 Series. Costed me about 350€. http://www.txwatches.com/500-subseries.html Mine is the one with brown velt, black background and bronze ring.

Re: Watches
I am quite a fan of Casio watches, mainly because of the tech in the modern GShock, but Citizen has some great products too. Just look at this one:

Or more affordable:

Re: Watches
I had a really expensive watch but I broke the strap and couldnt get it replaced, loved that watch so much Ive never worn one since. Im a slave to the mobile phone clock as with most people... that and I spent most of my time in front of a pc or in a car

Re: Watches
I really like my current Citizen Skyhawk, but I also like to see other cool watches. Here some exceptional ones I found yesterday (They are all far outside my range of affordability)
A mechanical self-winding watch with a liquid display (as in a fluid). I so want this...
http://www.hytwatches.com/Collection/Wa ... _dlc-2.sls
http://www.swisstime.ch/pgs/rwi-pgs-pro ... -2412.html
Strange watches for people who like Space Travel of times past, or the Titanic (There are a few other models). They integrate parts of an Apollo Spacecraft, real Dust from the Moon, or parts of the Titanic. And they look spectacular.
http://www.romainjerome.ch/ (So much cool stuff)
http://www.romainjerome.ch/category/tim ... n-invader/
http://www.romainjerome.ch/category/tim ... moon-dust/
http://www.romainjerome.ch/category/tim ... okull-dna/
Weird watches for people who don't like normal arrows... Which is much cooler than it first sounds.
http://www.urwerk.com/
And some other weird ones
http://www.swisstime.ch/pgs/rwi-pgs-pro ... -2523.html "Bullets don’t always kill people, time always does."
http://www.swisstime.ch/pgs/rwi-pgs-pro ... -2574.html Rocket jet?
http://www.swisstime.ch/pgs/rwi-pgs-pro ... -2489.html Most expensive worthless watch ever?
Most of those I found on http://www.swisstime.ch, I think it's a page collecting super expensive swiss watch manufacturer's masterpieces or so...

Re: Watches
Really cool!
I like the moon crater thingie The liquid one is cool, but a little over the top.. It'll get boring, I'm sure.
I've been trying to save up for a watch for years now, I'm willing to spend up to maybe 500 euro on one when I have that kinda money laying around. I still haven't found the perfect watch for me anywhere. I'm more into the more standard designs, nothing geeky.
I've been using my phone for the time for 8 years now and I'm sick of it.
What's your obsession with watches about Dust? Must be a Swiss thing.
