Eso, sorry I took quite long to reply to your post, but for horror/thriller flicks that I know are:

- 'Ringu' series [Ringu, Ringu 2, Ringu 0] (Japanese)
--> This is then remade into the hollywood horror movie, The Ring.

- 'Ju-On' series [1, 2, 3] (Japanese)
--> This is then remade into the hollywood horror movie, The Grudge.
