Poor old google getting a bashing recently, first story kinda makes me angry. Im sure they cant give 3rd parties this kind of information? One for Dust and his/her love of privacy?

Google has it's fingers everywhere.

For example in firefox. If you use the phishing protection, hashes from all pages you visit get sent to google.

Add to that the domination in advertising and google-analytics...
