It's only about three weeks since I got out of hospital from having and abcessed tonsil drained, the week prior to that I had Pharyngitis. Now it looks like I'm well on my way to another stay in hospital. Can't they just rip my tonsils out already.

oh poor you that does sound painful. hopsital stay never fun (though i like the food there:P i know its bad!)
I have myself been signed off work 3 weeks now too, so I know its not nice. Hope you feel better soon!

If it makes you feel better, the maximal number of times a person can be ill per month is 16 (requiring at least one day of not-being-ill between each illness as separator).

Oh no, what options are the docs giving you?

They keep mentioning tonsillectomy, but apparently that can be quite nasty once you're out of your teens.

OH MY GOD!

Yet more Penicillin. I must be developing an immunity to this stuff by now. Seems I have to go for more blood tests, at least it's nothing as drastic as having my tonsils out. Phew.
