Downloaded the PCG Demo of minecraft, a whole 90 mins of play time, pretty good and some seriously impressive things you can do with blocks.
Anyone bought the full game?

Got updated today to v1.8 - Scary 'enderman' in one of my mines (shudder).
Im still suprised how enjoyable it is, concidering most of the times spent digging holes.

Never tried it, but I hear it's nice.
I just can't imagine how moving textureless cubes around can be fun

I play the 'survival' mode, its gathering resources building a shelter, tool etc.
I must say Im suprised too, and would suggest downloading the PC Gamer demo to have a play.

Tips are:- Build a shelter, quick, daytime lasts about 10 mins or so or the zombies, skeletons and creeps will kill you....
I built a powered Mine cart track triggered by a button launch control, its a bit fiddly on the tech stuff but impressive.

I have a similar game called Terreria. This too is very enjoyable, and you can dig all the way down the Hell (thats what they call it when there is lava everywhere). It can be quite unforgiving.

Built a small castle and wanted the two iron doors to open at the same time using a lever on the wall... what a nightmare, had to set up a huge ass circuit system in order to make it work.
That said anyone with a knowlege of circuits could make some interesting thing in game.

Some interesting things that Dust may like, playing with Redstone circuits is frustrating but fun.

This computer thing is interesting... But maybe not the most efficient way :)
