It seems D3 wil have a beta weekend from friday 20 12:01 PM (PDT) about 20:01 BST 21:01 EU.

Good luck downloading the instaler and getting it to work though lots of people are having problems myself being on of them.

EDIT: After a start up in safe mode with networking i am able to install D3 only a 3gig DL very low if you ask me when the predownload for retail was nealy 8gig.

Downloading and installing is easy. Starting that piece of garbage is not. Those incompetent morrons that wrote such terrible code should go back to school, honestly...

Had a go on D3 mighty fine game and fun to play can see it being very popular.

I found it an absolutely terrible experience. First it takes three hours just to log into a SINGLE PLAYER GAME. And then I get disconnected from a SINGLE PLAYER GAME. I've not managed to reconnect yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I lost all my progress. I can't even save the game...

worked fine for me last night very late but now is giving and error.
This is not new, at least for me, since it happens every expansion of wow. Blizzard, as usual, on is best.

When I was on there was over 200k public games available to join . They put a cap on ther server as well so they could fully so a stress test so expect a lot of error 37 (server full) msgs , that said what is it going to be like when it comes out to play for real not being able to play a solo game is going to get a lot of people mad if they paid £50 or what ever the price is and can only play at silly hours because its always busy.
