Locks and Pallies via their class forums have asked Blizz about this. Blizz has asked for ideas and they are thinking about specialised mounts for these two classes although it is still at the idea stage.

For Pallies ideas of Pegasus and some sort of special Griffon have been mentioned.

Then I want a flying carpet, a flying broom, or at least memory stones.

there is no arabic race in wow and no al quaida factions so the carpet is most likely off
