Bah, I have a custom built pc for use with ProTools software/hardware built for a fraction of the price and just as powerful.

I would love a mac book for live recordings but still far too expensive and Ive all but stopped doing that now.

the day i get a mac is either they are same price as a PC or that i get rich

also, if you use a PC and dont connect it to the net and use a DAW build windows its more powerfull then a mac dusty

only reason i see to get a mac is Logic pro

and BLEEP Pro tools

I rarely find something to use even half of it's power (appart from compiling new things, compiling is easily parallelizable)

3d max was always a render nightmare, but still could build 4 or 5 pc's as a renderfarm for the same price as the mac

1.Open your Internt explorer, and/or firefoxx.
2. Open your music player, and start some random song.
3. Open 10 Youtube's, search for something, and play it.
4. Record that.
5. Buy a cake.
6. Celebrate your genius music.
7. Mail all your gold to Pallydra, who obviously gave you the idea for such a masterpiece.
(8). If you havent got 100k gold, you can just pay me with real money, whisper me ingame and we'll discuss an appropriate price for me making you famous.
