Warhammer online release date

Post by Idorian » 07 Aug 2008 14:44

http://www.warhammeronline.com/pressrel ... 080805.php

Anyone planning on playing this? Any of the old TCW members who left the game/guild planning on joining this?
As the release date is before the new expansion of WoW i'm thinking of starting with Warhammer.

Gonna try to play very casual :)

2 options, or you stop playin git casuel after a few months or you will probly stop playing it after a few months :). No such thing as casuel with 2 MMORPG's like WoW and WHO :P

Having worked for Games Workshop head Office I am tempted to give Warhammer Online a try, but I cant see it dragging me off WoW. I played Lord of the Rings Online and only managed a few hours on it... good job I got the £1 pre-release version! :P

i didn't hear much good about Lotro. From what i hear from WaR it seems to be okay altho i need to play it first to see how it plays. But AoC is getting more and more boring, spells that don't work sometimes. That can happen in a beta but not when it's live. And some other stuff where people need wait for, descent pvp stuff for example.

yeah but at least something happens, when you're a healer and your big heal only works 10% the time that sucks.

AOC just had no appeal whatsoever to me. A friend at work plays Dark Age of Camelot and said its better than WoW... ha!

Tried AoC. Its was to much liek WoW with none of the polish.
War i will be trying, i've always like the universe its based around, so should be fun, hpe its ready when they release it.
